The essence.

Last year, famous elite ultramarathoner Scott Jurek set up a new speed record for a supported thru-hike on the Appalachian Trail. 2,189 miles in 46 days, 8 hours and 7 minutes – only about 3 hours faster than the prevoius record holder. He was slowed down by an injury and said before this was going to be his masterpiece before his retirement from professional ultra running.

During the last weeks he was back on the AT to support his friend Karl Meltzer to break his record.

It is exactly about that: about support, about running together. When you´re on a journey it´s always good to have support. Go Scott. Eat and run.
